[ kat starts to run like the freaking wind. a listen check of 25+ might be able to catch some of the commotion inside the station as a few officers emerge into the lobby and jaka begins to launch into a tale of how he saw some people trying to break into the station and when he confronted them, they pulled a gun on him, interspersed with as many hisses of pain as possible to buy a few more precious seconds. either way, a few officers come sprinting out the door as they make it to the car. ]
