WHO || Elena & Wynn [closed]
WHAT || Elena goes to speak to Wynn about Kyp
WHERE || Knights HQ, the Round Table room
WHEN || End of May, a couple of days after Elena's party
HOW || Actionspam
[Elena doesn't know what she's doing, but her feet seem to be moving of their own accord.
This is her problem, and she can't help but feel as if she's the root cause for it all. Too many people's happiness, people that she loves, is at stake. She needs to fix this, however she can, and there are only a couple of ways to do it.
But first, she has questions. And she might only be able to get them from one person unless the tries scouring the minds of the other knights of the order.
And she's not sure she's ready to go that far. Or maybe, she just doesn't want to hear. What they say out loud is bad enough, sometimes.
So pretty soon, she's outside the door to Wynn's office, knocking lightly on the door. Wynn has always been an intimidating presence for her, and today is certainly going to be no exception.

the night before vi's wedding
it's been over a week since elena's world shattered. the next day is vi and luthir's wedding, the promise of something actually good on the horizon to look forward to.
but first, there's another long night to get through. sleep has come in spurts here and there during these long days spent so often secluded in her room, and it's often hard to know what time of day it even is, when she's woke up and when she's been dreaming.
and she has been dreaming.
at first, she can't remember them, beyond strange distant whispers, a feeling of being watched, an unsettling paranoia in her stomach, but it's easy enough to ascribe it to what happened.
this time, however, when she wakes, she knows better. this was an alien presence, distant and powerful and malevolent, and its focus had been bent on her, as if it could plumb her deepest secrets.
but looking around her room, she'd realize something seems... off. the colors are all wrong - gray and purple, and the furniture looks old, the room sporting cobwebs here and there, and dust on the mirror across the way.
a mirror in which... a reflection is moving that is not hers. ]

the next morning
Her mind is as decided as it will ever be, but she has to make sure of a few things first. And gather some information.
She takes note of the posted guard, plans to stay for awhile, to see who replaces him. For the first time in awhile, her mind collects the thoughts of those around her as she makes her way toward his cell, hopefully picking up the guard's thoughts so that she can keep track of them during the time she's down here.
Maybe they were right not to trust her after all...
She has a seat outside of Kyp's cell, arriving as silently as she did the first time, waiting for him to acknowledge her.]
