[ The Chicago O'Hare Airport is bustling as usual when Myri arrives. They haven't often had to use completely public transportation but since she's going on her own, it'd be silly to fly privately. However, that means Amaranth is going to have to fly cooped up... ]

Me too. I've got just the place in mind, too. [ he lowers his hand to hers, knotting his fingers there ] Come on. Let's get out of here.

[witchwoman]

[She takes his hand without question and nods, but glances back towards where the bags were sent to be checked.]

My bag. And Amaranth. We need to get them before we go. [Just the two of them and her familiar? It would be perfect.]

Right. Well, uh. Confession? [ he looks down, sheepish ] I sort of... parked right on the curb outside and ran past some security guards telling me to move. There's plenty of time before your flight [ he glances up at the board ], so why don't we go move it, and then I'll come right back here and get him?

[witchwoman]

[She still cannot help but believe him, cannot imagine that anything is out of the ordinary. Finnick doesn't exactly make the most well thought out plans of action (sense motive 11).]

Oh, well... Yes, we should probably take care of that. The last thing we need is some explosion in the newspaper about all this. [It's said with a smile. This almost feels normal. This feels like all she was hoping for. Before she turns to head out with him, she steps closer to press a kiss to his cheek.]

I love you. [Her hand squeezes his.] Let's go.

[ a hopeful smile tugs at his lips ] I love you too. [ and with that he takes her hand and leads her out of the terminal, out a side exit. ] It'll be faster this way.

[witchwoman]

[She nods and follows his lead because even when she's more used to the modern world, she just assumes that other people know more than she would. And it's Finnick. She trusts him so completely.]

[ ♬ break your plans - the fray

he pauses on the sidewalk outside abruptly, saying: ] Wait. [ and digging in his jacket pocket, turning her so that she's facing him, back to the road. ] I almost forgot. [ he takes out a solid gold bracelet and unlatches it, looking at her hopefully ] I got it for you before... everything happened, and I've just been carrying it around. Will you wear it?

[witchwoman]

[She turns to face him, a little confused, since he was so insistent on leaving before.]

Oh... you didn't have to... [But she holds out her right wrist all the same. It's very nice- simple, which is more of what she likes. She can't help the blush that creeps into her cheeks.]

[ he smiles and hooks it around her wrist, giving her exactly this look... and then he snaps it closed.

and her entire body goes numb, effectively under a hold person spell. a wicked gleam comes into "finnick"s eyes as he looks her over, hands still on the clasp. ]

Oh, but I did.

[witchwoman]

[She freezes- actually freezes in place when the bracelet snaps closed. Panic sets in immediately, because not being able to move is an incredibly terrifying experience.]

I don't... understand... [Her lips move with extreme difficulty, voice forced out with the most her strength has to offer.]

[behindcloseddoors]

[ the white van rolls up right on cue, back doors thrown open. ] Well, then, let me spell it out for you. [ he leans way in, accentuating his words. ] Your lover boy isn't coming for you. But even if he does...

[ right before her eyes he morphs... and it's as if he's looking in a mirror. ]



He'll never realize you're gone. [ men come up behind her, grabbing her arms ]

[witchwoman]

No... [The word is so quiet and the only one that she can manage as she watches the shift. She can't stop them when they grab her, can't move at all. Finnick hadn't come for her. And now she'd possibly never see him again, never see any of them again.]

[behindcloseddoors]

[ mirrorlandel watches with a villainous smirk as myri is dragged into the back of the van, the doors slammed shut on her. moments later, the vehicle starts up and she's left with one guard, a gun trained on her. ]

[witchwoman]

[Wow how is that gun even necessary. She is frozen and just a tiny cleric. It's so difficult to speak and she assumes they won't tell her anything anyway.]

[bonquas]

[ the ride lasts some time in bumpy silence, before finally it slows to a halt. after a few moments, the back doors are opened, and a familiar woman steps up to the back of the truck, leaning her elbows on it as she looks up as myri with a smirk ]

Hello, Myrilandel. Do you know who I am?

[witchwoman]

[She would nod if she... could. But she can't so she just stares ahead, frozen. After a few seconds of internal struggling, she manages to get a word out.]

NOVA...

[ she gives a tight smile ] Yes, NOVA. Although I think you know fully well by now that NOVA has little to do with anything. But it's convenient.

Unlike you. You've been very, very inconvenient indeed.

[witchwoman]

Me? [Her? Myri isn't really sure why she would be much of a problem at all. There were so many more important people on the team. But maybe that's why this had been so easy. She had fallen for it without any hesitation.]

[bonquas]

You. You just had to keep sticking your nose into Nadia's business, didn't you? You've planted seeds in that girl's mind that have made our job much more difficult than it ever needed to be. And the last thing we need is for her to track you down again.

No, it's much better for all of us for you to just... disappear. [ she gestures to the guard and turns to walk away. he drags myri out to what is apparently a private airfield, where a small plane is already warmed up and ready to go. ]

[witchwoman]

[Nadia. Myri's eyes flash as that clicks for her. Had she managed to give Nadia a fighting chance? Was there hope? There's no time to dwell on it before she's being dragged away. She saves her strength again, not trying to force any words out. Instead, she looks around (as much as she can without the ability to turn her head) to see if she recognizes anything nearby that might be helpful (spot 20 total).]

[ the airfield is surrounded by a tall chain link fence that makes it difficult to spot much, although it seems like there are fields beyond it. she's shoved into the back of the plane unceremoniously as kitty straps into the front passenger seat. ]

[witchwoman]

[It's not comfortable, but there's nothing she can do to shift to alleviate that. Mustering up her strength she gets a word out.]

Where? [Where are they going? Where are they taking her? She doesn't expect Kitty to answer, but she's realizing that she very well could die here (though, it stands to reason that if that was their goal, they could have done it already...)]

The one place we can keep you out of reach from them - and everyone else.

Andres Isle. [ annnnd the plane starts its takeoff ]

[She can't move, but the color can certainly drain from her already pale features. Andres Isle. Everything Sirs Bancroft and Chessing had told them of the place makes her believe once more that she may not make it out of this alive.]

Oh good. You're familiar. [ she crosses one leg over the other casually ] I think you've also seen some of Dimitris' experiments up close and personal.

If you're lucky, you might just get the chance to get even more so.
